South Fork Bakery is a 501(c)(3) not for profit bakery with a mission to provide meaningful, paid employment to adults with disabilities in our local communities. For the first time on the East End of Long Island, there is a place where people with developmental and intellectual disabilities are supported to work and encouraged to be a contributing member of their community. We see beyond disabilities and instead see employees willing, able and excited to work!

Our secret ingredient is always love...

"It's more than a paycheck. It's a community of nice people, and it's a really fun bakery."

- Collier Lee, employee

"The bakery empowers people with disabilities and teaches how to work on your own. It's helped me a lot. This job helped me prepare for other jobs."

- Clay Bratches, employee

"At other jobs, I was paid less and undervalued. I feel like the work I do in the relaxed atmosphere of bakery helps me to relax in the other job I have at The Hampton Center. I can relax easier knowing that I'm accepted as a worker and valued."

- Scott Beineke, employee
